Benjamin Miller sings honky-tonk numbers and sad songs for Minneapolis country band The Federales, sings psychedelic folk and 1960s rock ’n’ roll for himself, and plays bass for a few NYC Americana bands. Ben started writing songs after stints in country cover bands around the Twin Cities and then soaked up tons of musical inspiration while making videos for public radio show Live from Here. For fans of: Bob Dylan’s harmonica on John Wesley Harding, Neil Young’s On the Beach, Kate Bollinger, Humbird’s “Blueberry Bog,” long scarves, easy-to-make rye whiskey cocktails.
Three Muses EP
Ben wrangled a few brilliant musical friends (including some Federales) to help record the new Three Muses EP — six songs inspired by coast-to-coast adventures, rock ’n’ roll mythology, and modern life as a semi-professional musician.
For fans of: Bob Dylan’s harmonica on John Wesley Harding, On the Beach, Jenny O., Kacy and Clayton, long scarves, rye whiskey cocktails.
